I LOVE BLOGGING! And the last six months (since I started the blog) have represented some of the best times of my life. Well it's either that or I could be a real cheap date. You know, just put me in front of a PC, and I'm yours. LOL! I characterize that time period as the good, the bad, and the er...interesting.
The good times are because of the budding, fledgling friendships I've forged with fellow bloggers. We share a love of blogging. Topics and subject matters abound, - interesting, informative, and infectious. I spend much of my free time visiting my favorite blogs and reading new posts, and/or following links to discover new ones. And there are enough Blog Hops, exchanges, and awards making the circuit to make your head spin. Perhaps some of us will actually have a face-to-face one day at a blogger convention. I envision someone walking up to me, saying, "You must be the rambling couch potato. I'd know you anywhere. Your name is soooo you. A perfect match!"
I use the term bad "loosely", and refer to the time wasted seeking ideas/topics to blog about, and the additional time spent, spinning said ideas into a post. But once you've achieved that finished product... what a labor of love!
All in all, it's been an interesting six months. There have been perks, I've experienced quirks and every so often, that rare breed of person who is willing to vote, befriend and follow me, yet has no blog him/herself. Interesting.....
